Inside Sport - Season Two on BBC One

The BBC’s flagship sports news programme Inside Sport returns on Monday 3 September on BBC One with a 14-week second series.

Gabby Logan will present the 40-minute programme and conduct each week’s “big interview” with a well known sports personality.

She will be joined by Steve Bunce, Tony Livesey and Des Kelly who will deliver reports, as well as take part in live studio panel debates on the hot topics of the sporting week.

Recorded features will be provided by roving reporters Matt Pinsent and James Pearce, with Mihir Bose on hand to provide regular sports news stories.

Inside Sport will not be confined to any one sport but will go wherever the sports news stories are.

The expert team will seek to delve behind the main headlines and get to know what makes some of the greatest names in sport really tick.

With access to some of the industry’s most well known figures, Gabby will spend quality time with sports personalities as they go about their daily lives.

John Terry, Andy Murray, Kevin Pietersen, Ricky Hatton, Shirley Robertson, Sven-Goran Eriksson and Graham Poll were all interviewed during the first series.

The website – bbc.co.uk/insidesport – will provide additional content relating to the show including:

Programme Editor Amanda Farnsworth’s midweek blog;
Viewers’ Questions – a chance for viewers to input to the programme;
LoganMail – a newsletter sent out each Monday afternoon outlining the evening’s show;
Previous editions of Inside Sport and interviews to download.

A re-versioned episode of Inside Sport will also be broadcast each week on the BBC’s commercially-funded international news and information television channel BBC World.
