S01E07 - Saturday 23 Feb.7:30pm on ITV2

With only four girls left in the competition, the pressure is mounting in this week’s episode. For the first task this week the girls must imagine themselves as the American Princess and paint their self-portraits, with the aid of acclaimed artist Jeff Stultiens, who has painted Her Majesty The Queen herself.

Next, the princess wannabes are informed they will be dining with aristocracy, joining Sir Simon and Lady Benton Jones at their country estate. A crash course in everything the girls will need over the course of their visit ensues. Paul teaches dinner table etiquette, Jean shows the girls how to exit a car like a lady, James instructs on the art of fine conversation and speech and diction specialist Francis Wright makes a return visit to teach the girls how to make a memorable toast.

After everything the girls have learnt so far, they are given a reason to be truly terrified. They must provide the after dinner entertainment by singing. They are offered some guidance to calm their nerves from Gillian Humphreys, an international soprano.

All lessons complete, the girls travel to Lincolnshire to the setting of their evening of etiquette -15th century, Irnham Hall. An unforgettably entertaining evening follows and unbeknownst to the girls, one of the guests around the table is their dashing Prince to be who will be crowning his Princess in less than a week. But one of them will not make it past this week after the judges decide who must leave the competition.

Saturday 23 February 2008 7:30pm – 8:30pm on ITV2.
