This week the princess hopefuls begin with a lesson from our experts, Jean Broke-Smith and Paul Burrell, on dating dos and don’ts. With the session fresh in the their minds the girls are paired off to meet three handsome, eligible bachelors who go by the names of Theo, Ben and The Lord of Muff. Accompanied by the boys, they then visit some of England’s most celebrated sights, including St.Paul’s Cathdral, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and Brighton’s Royal Pavillion.

The girls receive more expert advice from British wine connoisseur Jilly Goolden in a wine appreciation lesson. At a picnic with the bachelors the following day the would-be princesses are forced to put their new found knowledge to the test, when they are asked to chose the wine.

The final lesson of the week – flower arranging – is taken by a royal florist at the beautiful Hatfield House, a former Tudor palace. The main challenge is to arrange a table centrepiece inspired by the theme of American Princess. The varied results of the challenge are put on display at the manor’s annual Rose Weekend festival.

At the end of the show one girl’s time is up as Catherine returns to eliminate someone from the competition.
