This week sees the final instalment of the magazine series in which Martin Lewis shares his money-saving expertise. In this programme, Martin turns his attention to the studio audience, before subjecting ‘Britain’s Bravest’ presenter Dermot Murnaghan to the wallet workout. Martin presents this series with Five News correspondent Ruth Liptrot. As well as covering big campaign stories, the show explains how to become a savvy consumer, with advice on reclaiming cash and cutting bills. Each week, Martin rifles through a celebrity’s wallet and tallies up the cash that could be saved in a year – a total which is added to the ‘celebrity wallet workout wall’. Meanwhile, reporter Ruth Liptrot goes out onto the streets of Britain to meet ordinary people who have taken money-saving to the extreme.

For the final show of the series, Martin performs his wallet workout on members of the studio audience, offering step-by-step instructions on how to save hundreds of pounds by changing credit and store cards. Martin then turns his attention to this week’s celebrity guest – newsreader and ‘Britain’s Bravest’ presenter Dermot Murnaghan. Will Martin have good news about how the journalist manages his finances? And who will finish top of the wallet workout wall?

Elsewhere this week, roving reporter Ruth Liptrot is initiated into the ways of an ardent freebie grabber; and Martin tracks down the latest hot deals, offers, loopholes and freebies in the final money-saving news.
