S02E03 - The worst day of auditions in Simon's life

Does Blackpool have Talent? The promos for Britain’s Got Talent would suggest that the home of variety may not be living up to its expectation as the Las Vegas of Great Britain.

8 year old Alex Lees is a singer. He’s very animated as he sings Robbie Williams & Kylie Minogue - Robbie Williams: Greatest Hits - Kids Kids but he’s out of tune.

70 year old Molly Fenton sings the Charles Penrose - Vintage British Comedy, Vol. 6 - The Laughing Policeman Laughing Policeman

The day that began with great expectations hasn’t been going very much to plan.

74 year old Brenda Isaacs compares herself to Britney Spears. They buzz her out midway through her awful rendition of The Wizard Of Oz - Judy Garland - The Wizard of Oz - Over the Rainbow Over the Rainbow. She then murders Righteous Brothers - Unchained Melody - The Very Best of the Righteous Brothers - Unchained Melody Unchained Melody.

Husband and Wife Duo Vizage perform a quick change routine to Madonna - Like a Virgin - Material Girl Material Girl. They offer them the chance to go through if Vicki chooses not to sing. The refuse that and get put through anyway.

Two supermarket managers make up Per Diem and sing a classic Crowded House - Recurring Dream - The Very Best of Crowded House - Fall at Your Feet Fall At Your Feet and Simon thinks they have the likeability factor. Amanda also agrees that they’re going to go a long way.

Impressionist Scottie Robson, The Powderpuff Girlz and Veniamins Eyes make it through.

Trainee Lawyer by day and by night, an entertainer. Signature performs his routine with a partner that comes out in the middle of his routine. No one was expecting what they saw.

Alex Lees is back to perform a comedy routine. His jokes impress them enough to put him through as he was a natural as a comedian as opposed to a singer.

Michelle Addison is a good little actress, Phil Fletcher and Carl Chadd are puppeteers, Arden Youth Choir perform Westlife - The Love Album - The Rose The Rose and all get the thumbs up.

George Sampson auditioned last year but he missed out on the semi-finals so he’s back again this year wanting it even more than before. He dances to C + C Music Factory - Mad Hot Ballroom - Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now) Gonna Make You Swear (Everybody Dance Now) and he’s by far the best dancer they’ve had on the show.
