- Gaz shows up at Hollyoaks High, drunk and looking for trouble
- Justin offers The Somethings a gig, supporting McFly at the SU Bar
- Darren loses his job at The Dog as Neville accuses him of stealing a wallet
Nancy and Theresa
Nancy’s feeling nervous as her class is being assessed, and just to make her job even more difficult; Theresa is causing some serious disruption in the class.
As Theresa sends to everyone in the class a picture of Nancy and Russ together; everyone begins to giggle, and Nancy confiscates Lauren’s phone in order to see what everyone is laughing about.
Nancy makes a point of declaring to her class that she and Russ are just good friends, Theresa continues to disrupt the class though, forcing Nancy to fight back with an insult, much to the amusement of the class, but clear disgust of the assessor.
Gaz
Although expelled, with an ASBO prohibiting him from entering the Hollyoaks High premises; Gaz shows up at the school drunk, and is looking to cause some trouble.
Nancy confronts Gaz about his being in the school, but Gaz merely taunts her by calling her a ‘hobbit’, pushes Nancy into an empty classroom and locks the door closed.
Lauren and Newt are luckily there at the time, and whilst Newt watches through the classroom door window; Lauren runs off to try and find someone to help.
Nancy tries to reason with Gaz and get him to see sense about the situation, Gaz is clearly very angry though, and throws a chair against the wall.
Pushing Nancy down on a table, and clenching his fist to hit her; Gaz is only stopped from doing something that he’ll seriously regret by the fact that Russ bursts into the classroom and shouts his name.
Gaz still isn’t fully coming to his senses, but to make sure Nancy doesn’t come to any harm; Russ punches Gaz in the face, runs out of the classroom with Nancy, and locks Gaz in the classroom as he prepares to call the police.
Justin, Josh, Hannah, and Hayley
Josh asks Justin for a gig at the SU Bar, but Justin is being very unwilling to give The Somethings a show.
Josh asks Hannah if she can try and help him to change Justin’s mind, but she’s not too sure that she can be of any help, and instead suggests that Josh asks Neville if The Somethings can play again at The Dog.
Josh insists that The Somethings is not a pub band, and is still very keen to secure a show at the SU Bar.
Asking Justin again about playing at the SU Bar; Justin lets Josh know that McFly is going to be playing there soon, and this excites Josh even more as he asks for a support slot.
Justin still says no to Josh, but determined to make Justin change his mind; Josh has a plan, and isn’t prepared to miss out on this amazing opportunity.
Josh and Hayley start playing just outside the doors of the SU Bar, and this angers Justin as he doesn’t have an outdoor license.
Josh suggests that Justin should give them a gig indoors instead then, and as Hannah once more asks Justin to give The Somethings a chance; Justin finally agrees to give Josh his gig, and provides him the great news that The Somethings is going to be supporting McFly.
Josh is clearly excited that The Somethings has got its first big gig lined up, and Hayley also is pleased that they’ll be supporting McFly, and wonders which members of the band are currently single.
Darren and Neville
Neville’s not looking too pleased when he comes into the toilet at The Dog and sees Darren counting up a load of money.
Neville tells Darren that a customer has reported their wallet missing, and with the evidence looking to be stacked against Darren; Neville lets Darren know that he’s fired, despite Darren’s insistence that he’s innocent.
Finding a wallet on the floor outside The Dog a little later on, and looking inside to find a great wad of cash; Neville quickly realises that Darren is in fact innocent, and goes to see him at his flat to apologise.
Darren isn’t best pleased when he opens his flat door to see Neville, and despite Neville’s apology; after Neville’s accusations, Darren is no longer prepared to return to his job at The Dog.
