Brighton Beach Patrol: Episode 4

Friday 25th September 8.00pm

Continuing this week is the documentary series following the work of the police, coastguard and RNLI volunteers who patrol Brighton’s worldfamous beach. In this episode, the lifeguards hit the Gay Pride festival for the first time, nightclub manager Dan Hills launches his latest venture and the RNLI goes in search of a missing raver.

‘Brighton Beach Patrol’ celebrates the city’s biggest event of the year this week when the Gay Pride festival arrives. Thousands of revellers are expected to pour into the seaside town to party all weekend – but with the weather forecast looking grim, could the much-anticipated weekend become a total washout?

Elsewhere, ‘Speedo’ Joe and the other lifeguards have pimped up their ‘Baywatch’ truck and are popping their pride cherry by taking part in this year’s parade for the first time. Keen for a memorable entrance, Joe decides to push the boundaries and shake his booty.

Meanwhile, back on the beach, nightclub manager Dan Hills is opening his latest venture to cash in on the invasion of partygoers in Brighton. Will his new project come together on time? And can he stick to his original budget?

And the morning after the night before is a chaotic affair when a raver who was last seen going for an early morning dip disappears. The RNLI volunteers launch their boats to help with the search – but is the party over for the missing reveller?
