The Mr. Men Show: Eyeglasses

Monday 28th September 7.20am

The lovable Mr Men continue their fun-filled adventures on Milkshake! With a blend of fastpaced physical humour and verbal wit, the Mr Men cartoons have been a favourite among children for a number of years. ‘The Mr. Men Show’ brings the colourful animated sketch show to a new generation of children aged between four and seven.

This series sees the arrival of new characters Little Miss Giggles and Little Miss Magic, while old favourites like Mr Tall, Mr Funny, Mr Curious and Little Miss Bossy also make an appearance. All the characters, old and new, remain true to the essence of Roger Hargreaves’s original creations. The madcap action is narrated by distinguished English actor Simon Callow.

In Monday’s show, ‘Eyeglasses’, Mr Stubborn insists that Mr Happy needs glasses, Miss Helpful sells stylish specs at her shop and Miss Whoops loses her eyewear on an aeroplane.

Tuesday’s show is ‘Sun and Moon’. Mr Grumpy is woken up by Mr Scatterbrain’s late-night gardening, Miss Daredevil and a team of astronauts collect some moon rocks and Mr Nervous is scared of the sun on a trip to the beach with Miss Chatterbox and Mr Rude.

Wednesday’s instalment, ‘Dining Out’, sees Mr Fussy fight to keep down his food at Miss Magic’s cafe. Elsewhere, Mr Grumpy has trouble ordering at Mr Tickle’s restaurant and Miss Naughty plays tricks on her customers.

Messrs Fussy and Messy find themselves in a spot of bother on Thursday when their presents get jumbled up in ‘Gifts’. Meanwhile, Mr Tickle tries to help Mr Rude make a sale at his shop and Mr Nervous is afraid to open a present from Miss Scary.

And on Friday’s show, ‘Telephone’, Mr Rude talks loudly on his mobile during Mr Fussy’s concert, Mr Bump and Mr Tickle attempt to fix a phone line and Miss Helpful thinks a new handset will make Mr Grumpy more popular.
