There are some great storylines due this coming week in Hollyoaks, and for one, Newt questions his sanity when Rae reappears and Gilly’s going to try her best to make Steph jealous, but she won’t have much success.
Getting back to the Newt-Rae storyline, when Newt’s been given the all-clear and is allowed to leave hospital, he decides to give back the purse belonging to the old lady he mugged as a gesture of good will.
However, in the purse, he finds a picture of Rae, who was supposed to have killed herself! So, Newt turns detective and sure enough, he finds Rae alive and well, but she’s got no idea who he is!
She does give him a good rollocking though for the theft!
Newt’s completely confused and doesn’t know what’s going on while Rae’s intrigued that Newt thinks he knows her, especially as she’s supposed to be dead! He takes her to the place she’s supposed to have died but it’s doesn’t ring any bells for Rae…
He does freak her out though, not unreasonably…
Another great storyline is that Hollyoaks lager lout Archie Carpenter is set to storm Sarah Barnes’ funeral in “spectacular scenes” which are set to air on Friday.
Archie, desperate to clear sister Zoe’s name – she’s set to stand trial for murdering Sarah – is adamant that Sarah’s ex-girlfriend Lydia is the real murderer…
So, he gatecrashes Sarah’s funeral just as friends and family are paying their last respects, and he shocks everyone by accusing Lydia of murdering Sarah.
Kris pulls Archie away while Nancy comforts Lydia as the rest of the mourners struggle to come to terms with his accusation.
However, some good comes from Archie’s outburst because it’ll make Nancy realise the importance of friendship and she forgives Hannah for writing to Jake.
So will Lydia be arrested? Will Zoe be freed? We’ll have to wait and see but of course, the minute I know, you will too!
And, as if all that wasn’t enough, Archie’s the victim of a prank caller and he’s certain someone’s out to get him. He blames everyone around him and at a Halloween night down in the SU, he finds a scary note in the corridor that’s aimed at him, and he totally freaks out.
Bless him, the big freak… More Chester news and goss soon!
