The Mr. Men Show: Washing and Drying

Weekdays at 7.15am

The lovable Mr Men continue their fun-filled adventures on Milkshake! With a blend of fastpaced physical humour and verbal wit, the Mr Men cartoons have been a favourite among children for a number of years. ‘The Mr. Men Show’ brings the colourful animated sketch show to a new generation of children aged between four and seven.

This series sees the arrival of new characters Little Miss Giggles and Little Miss Magic, while old favourites like Mr Tall, Mr Funny, Mr Curious and Little Miss Bossy also make an appearance. All the characters, old and new, remain true to the essence of Roger Hargreaves’s original creations. The madcap action is narrated by distinguished English actor Simon Callow.

In Monday’s show, ‘Washing and Drying’, Mr Fussy is forced to do his washing in Mr Messy’s basement, Mr Scatterbrain and his monkey deliver the wrong clothes to their clients and Mr Strong steps in when Mr Grumpy’s washing machine runs amok.

Tuesday’s show is ‘Seashore’. Mr Quiet battles birds at the beach, Mr Stubborn gets himself and Miss Chatterbox in deep water and Miss Scary warns seashell searchers about sea monsters.

Wednesday’s instalment, ‘Sneezes and Hiccups’, sees Mr Stubborn refuse to admit he has a cold. Elsewhere, Miss Magic tries to cure Miss Daredevil’s hiccups and Mr Fussy regrets taking Messrs Messy and Tickle to a fancy restaurant.

In ‘Fruit’ on Thursday, Mr Rude delivers fruit baskets, Mr Quiet takes a ride on Miss Daredevil’s juiced-up jet and Mr Bump tries running an applesauce factory.

And on Friday’s show, ‘Radio’, Mr Grumpy wants the wireless turned off during a road trip with Mr Happy. Mr Fussy, meanwhile, cooks up trouble thanks to Miss Helpful’s radio show and Mr Rude tries to buy a clock radio from Mr Scatterbrain.
