Family! A Fishing Trip

Weekdays at 9.05am

The fascinating documentary series continues. This week the show focuses on the lives of the Sellers family from Portmahomack, a tiny fishing village on the east coast of Scotland. Four-yearold Benjamin lives with Mum and Dad, older sister Evangeline, twins Lorelei and Reuben and little Mippy.

In Monday’s show, Benjamin and his family go on a fishing trip. They only live a short walk from the harbour, so in no time they are all aboard their little red fishing boat. Everyone catches a fish, which they take home and slap on the barbecue for a delicious lunch.

In Tuesday’s instalment it’s Dad’s birthday! While he goes to work, Benjamin and the family bake a cake and make birthday cards. They can’t tell anyone, because it’s going to be a surprise party. What better place to have it than on the beach right in front of their house?

On Wednesday, it’s gala day in Portmahomack, which means sand castle-building and dressing-up competitions. Benjamin takes part in both, but will he win first prize this time?

On Thursday, Benjamin and his family go to visit the local lighthouse. Along the way, they get to meet some friendly cows. But will Benjamin make it all the way up the stairs to the top of the lighthouse?

In the last show of the week on Friday, Benjamin meets up with his best friend Jocelyn and both families go to visit the local rock pools in Portmahomack. They find all sorts of creatures that make these rock pools their home. At the end of the trip, the little friends play on a train track drawn in the sand.
