In this instalment, Flack bonds with a young witness after a teenager is shot and robbed in front of his ten-year-old brother. ‘CSI: NY’ follows a team of forensic investigators who use high-tech science to solve crimes in the Big Apple. Det Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise, ‘Forrest Gump’, ‘Apollo 13’) and his partner Stella Bonasera lead a team of experts through the gritty and dynamic city that never sleeps. The team includes Danny Messer, an investigator with an unflappable spirit and a troubled family history, and Sheldon Hawkes, a brilliant PhD who transitioned to the field team. Joining them is Don Flack, an edgy homicide detective with a quick wit, and Lindsay Monroe, a young investigator who is willing to roll up her sleeves to tackle any job. Rounding out the team is ‘lab rat’ Adam Ross and eccentric coroner Sid Hammerback. These skilled investigators follow the evidence as they piece together clues and finally eliminate doubts to crack their cases. In the course of the investigation, Flack develops a close bond with the younger boy as they try to get to the bottom of who was responsible for the heinous crime. And Mac and new flame Aubrey work together to bring the perpertrator to justice. But is Sam telling the whole truth about what happened?
