The hit US drama continues. When a mysterious event causes the entire world to black out, humanity is given a glimpse into the near future. In this episode, Demetri and Agent Banks attempt to track down a killer, Mark reluctantly agrees to help Simon find his sister Annabelle, and the FBI team discovers the true identity of Suspect Zero. The high-concept sci-fi drama is based on author Robert J Sawyer’s revolutionary novel. The series is executive produced by David S Goyer (visionary co-writer of ‘Batman Begins’ and ‘The Dark Knight’) and Brannon Braga (’24′, ‘Star Trek: Enterprise’). Joseph Fiennes (‘Shakespeare in Love’) plays FBI agent and recovering alcoholic Mark Benford, the head of the team investigating the blackout. John Cho (‘Star Trek’, ‘Harold & Kumar Get the Munchies’) is Mark’s sidekick, Agent Demetri Noh. Sonya Walger (‘Lost’, ‘Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles’) plays Mark’s wife, surgeon Dr Olivia Benford. Jack Davenport (‘This Life’, ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’) plays struggling single father Lloyd Simcoe. Dominic Monaghan (‘Lost’, ‘The Lord of the Rings’) appears as Lloyd’s colleague, the mysterious Simon Campos. The ensemble cast also includes Christine Woods as Agent Janis Hawk, Courtney B Vance (‘Law & Order: Criminal Intent’, ‘ER’) as FBI boss Stanford Wedeck and Peyton List (‘Mad Men’) as babysitter Nicole Kirby. Brian F O’Byrne plays Mark’s friend Aaron Stark, and Zachary Knighton appears as Dr Bryce Varley. This week, Demetri and Agent Banks (Alex Kingston, ‘ER’, ‘Doctor Who’) attempt to track down a killer as a number of people who thought they had escaped their fates are found dead. Mark reluctantly agrees to help Simon find his sister Annabelle, and the FBI team discovers the true identity of Suspect Zero. Elsewhere, Nicole learns the whereabouts of Keiko – the woman in Bryce’s flashforward – but struggles with whether to share this information, due to her growing feelings for him.
