Strictly Come Dancing has seemed a bit… musty… in recent series.
I mean, The X Factor has been trouncing it in the glitz stakes, leaving our ballroom chums strutting around in sequins to not much fanfare. Hardly befitting of a primetime weekend slot on BBC1.
Now, to add some glamour to proceedings, Brendan Cole has revealed that he would love the chance to team up with Victoria Beckham on Strictly.
The show regular spoke out following reports that BBC bosses are keen to sign up Beckham for the programme’s next series.
Cole told The Sun: “I would love to tango with Posh.”
The dancing maniac predicted that Beckham would be “brilliant” on the contest, adding: “She gets a hard time so coming on Strictly would show people what she’s really like.”
Cole also confessed that he is still unsure over his Strictly future following rumours that a number of professional dancers will be axed this year.
He said: “If I don’t get the call I’ll have a quiet cry and move on.”
It’s hard to see him getting the chop though isn’t it? He’s the moody one who everyone likes to see snapping at the judging panel.
