CSI: NY: Point of View

Sunday 6 June, 9:00pm on Five USA

The sixth season of the crime drama continues. In this instalment, Mac witnesses some strange events from the window of his apartment. ‘CSI: NY’ follows a team of forensic investigators who use high-tech science to solve crimes in the Big Apple. Det Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise, ‘Forrest Gump’, ‘Apollo 13’) and his partner Stella Bonasera lead a team of experts through the gritty and dynamic city that never sleeps. The team includes Danny Messer, an investigator with an unflappable spirit and a troubled family history, and Sheldon Hawkes, a brilliant PhD who transitioned to the field team. Joining them is Don Flack, an edgy homicide detective with a quick wit, and Lindsay Monroe, a young investigator who is willing to roll up her sleeves to tackle any job. Completing the team is ‘lab rat’ Adam Ross and eccentric coroner Sid Hammerback. These skilled investigators follow the evidence as they piece together clues and finally eliminate doubts to crack their cases. In this episode – a homage to Alfred Hitchcock’s ‘Rear Window’ -Mac witnesses some mysterious events from his apartment window as he recuperates at home from an injury. The briefcase exchange that the CSI inadvertently observes leads to a murder, and unexpectedly brings exgirlfriend Dr Peyton Driscoll back into his life.
