
Fearne Cotton has come a long way since taking on the host role on the X Factor’s spin off show, The Xtra Factor. She’s landed the main host role for Sky’s version of The X Factor, Must Be The Music.
The aim of the show is to find the UK’s best music act of any age singing any song in any genre. Judges of the show include rapper Dizzee Rascal, Texas front woman Sharleen Spiteri and Jazz-man Jamie Cullum. The winner of the show will take home £100,000.00
Judging started in Manchester yesterday and Fearne will meet hopeful contestants today at the second day of autitions.
Mercury Music Prize winner Dizzee says, “I know how hard it is to break into the music industry – I’m here to give you that break.”
The series will be shown on Sky1 and Sky1 HD this August.
