This insightful documentary examines the relationship between Michael Jackson and possibly the most famous moon-walking chimpanzee in the world, his pet Bubbles. With contributions from Michael’s sister La Toya Jackson, biographer J Randy Taraborrelli, Bubbles’ trainer Bob Dunn, and various animal behaviour and psychology experts, this programme considers why Bubbles played such a huge part in Jackson’s life. Those closest to Jackson believe Bubbles was much more than a pet: he was Michael’s playmate who gave unconditional love, symbolising Jackson’s lost youth.
