Nikita was taken from death row by a secret US government agency, known only as Division, and given a second chance as a ruthless spy and assassin. When she made the mistake of falling in love with a civilian, Division had him killed, and Nikita disappeared. Now she is back for revenge against the corrupt agency and is trying to make amends for the crimes she committed for them. This week, she sets out to avenge the death of her first assassination target, a homeland security agent who had been trying to stop a Triad slave-trafficking ring.
After setting the slave labourers free and burning the Triad sweatshop to the ground, Nikita goes in search of the Triad leader and makes the shocking discovery that her supposed first kill is alive and working for the Triads in Hong Kong. Division faked his death. But why? Nikita confronts him in Hong Kong, unaware that her former Division handler Michael is hot on her trail. His strong feelings for Nikita have so far prevented him from obeying his orders to kill her on sight, but can she trust him again not to shoot?
