Contemporary Freestyle duo Jessica and Brittany met at their local dance school four years ago and have been practicing as a pair ever since.

Brittany’s moves developed from jumping around in front of the TV as a toddler. She’s come a long way since then though and is now a member of the Colin Maxwell School of Dance. Brittany’s solo costumes are also sponsored by the British costume company Obsession – and can cost from around £1000!

Always known as a shy girl, Jessica’s confidence grew hugely after creating a routine to Kylie Minogue’s Can’t Get You Out of My Head. She’s now a permanent fixture on the dance floor and practices with Brittany at her dance school.

Spending between 25 and 30 hours rehearsing every week, the girls are regulars on the contemporary freestyle circuit and recently won first pairs place at the 2010 World Championships in Blackpool.  Over the past year they also won first place as a pair at the 2010 European Championships in Brean Sands and have competed in the Scottish Championships and the Disco Kid competition in Blackpool.
