Robert Zemeckis’ thriller stars Michelle Pfeiffer as Claire Spencer, married to scientist Norman Spencer (Harrison Ford). They are renovating his old family home and while he is at work, she experiences phenomena which suggest the house is haunted. At the same time, she suspects a neighbour, Warren Feur (James Remar) has murdered his wife – are the manifestations her spirit? But in a shock worthy of Hitchcock, she learns her suspicions are unfounded and that the truth lies a lot closer to home.
