On Emmerdale next week – starting Monday 14th March – Aaron’s devastated when he watches one of Jackson’s video diaries, and hears Jackson confessing that he wants to die.
Aaron confides in Hazel, Jackson’s mum, about what he saw and heard on the tape, but Hazel refuses to acknowledge what Jackson’s said and chooses instead to “jolly him along”.
However, that doesn’t mean that Jackson isn’t still harbouring thoughts about ending it all, as she’ll soon find out.
Elsewhere in the village, Lisa gets bad news when the police officer who’s been investigating her allegation of rape against Derek turns up and tells a devastated Lisa that they don’t have enough evidence to charge Derek.
So, with the case officially dropped, Zak decides he can’t take the injustice of it and goes to confront Derek himself.
Armed with a baseball bat and a bellyful of fury, Zak lays into Derek while Lisa begs him not to…
However, Zak’s determined to get a confession out of Derek, and though the slimy factory worker at first insists the sex between him and Lisa was consensual, he soon changes his story when Zak repeatedly hits him.
Also next week, Kelly Windsor turns up in Emmerdale, eager to find Jimmy and discover what’s happened to him, since the last time she saw him, she knocked him out with a torch!
When she realizes he’s lost his memory, she quickly works it to her advantage and tells Jimmy that she was the love of his life, not Nicola, and poor Jimmy’s distressed as he believes he’s been unfaithful to his wife.
And finally, when the bank turns Chas down for a loan, she goes to Charity, hoping she’ll ask Jai for the money Chas needs to buy the pub from Diane…
But as she’ll discover, Jai’s no soft touch!
