BBC One’s new legal drama Silk maintained its popularity on Tuesday night, with an audience of over 5 million from 9pm. The series peaked at 5.08m, easily beating Leah’s Dream on ITV1 in the 9pm hour.
ITV denies X Factor issues
ITV has denied there is any trouble surrounding this year’s season of The X Factor with chief executive Adam Crozier saying the series will definitely return in the autumn.

The hardcover True Blood graphic novel has proved popular upon release in the US, landing a spot on the New York Times Best-Seller list. The comic has claimed the number six spot on the list after one week on the shelves.
Brummer joins Neighbours
Former Home and Away actor Dieter Brummer has joined rival Aussie soap Neighbours for a guest role which will see him spend seven weeks playing a returned soldier. Recently, Brummer has worked on the likes of Underbelly, in which he featured across two seasons.
