Former X Factor finalist Mary Byrne has landed a guest role on TV shopping channel QVC, according to The Sun today.
Mary can be seen on the channel next Monday and she’ll apparently be singing live to promote her new album entitled ‘Mine & Yours’.
The paper states that she’ll sing This Is a Man’s World and I Who Have Nothing.
A source told the paper, “It makes perfect sense to flog the album on a phone-in show.
“Mary’s fans have already proved they like using their phones by voting her through to the X Factor semi-finals.
“It could go to Number One. It worked for Susan Boyle and will be a huge Mother’s Day hit.
“Mary is really excited. She knows she’s not as big as SuBo but she wouldn’t mind a few of her millions.”
Mary’s album is on general release in the UK on March 28, and is currently available to pre-order.

In other news, Mary has revealed that she fell out with Cher Lloyd while they were both living in the X Factor contestants’ house.
During an interview with Metro, Mary said Cher was “bullying” in her attitude to the other contestants.
She said, “She was being a little bit of a missy. People were talking about her thinness and she started talking about fat people.
“And, you know, I’m a big woman, which she got quite abrupt about, so I said to her, ‘You know, every one of us has something wrong with us, there’s none of us perfect and you can’t keep putting other people down because you’re feeling low. That’s bullying.’”
However, Mary added that Cherl later apologised “because she knew she was wrong”.
