Former Big Breakfast presenter Kelly Brook is said to be “devastated” after suffering a miscarriage and losing the baby girl she and partner Thom Evans were expecting.

The model, 31, was almost five months pregnant. She was being comforted last night by boyfriend Thom Evans, 25.
A friend said: “Kelly is devastated.” SHE had been excitedly looking forward to the joy of becoming a mum for the first time.
As she proudly announced her pregnancy in March, Kelly Brook told the world that her rugby star boyfriend Thom Evans would make the “perfect dad”.
But yesterday her dreams were cruelly shattered with the news that she had lost the baby girl she was expecting.
Kelly, 31, was almost five months pregnant when she was taken to hospital at the end of last week after concerns she may be miscarrying – and her worst fears were later confirmed by doctors.
Anxious mum Sandra went straight to Kelly’s home in Kent to comfort her, along with Thom and other family members.
A source said: “Kelly is absolutely devastated. She was so looking forward to being a mum. Everyone is rallying around to make sure she and Thom will be OK. But it’s all so raw at the moment and words can’t express how they’re both feeling.”
A spokesman for Kelly confirmed the miscarriage, describing it as “a very painful time” for both her and Thom.
Only last week Kelly could barely contain her happiness as she showed off her baby bump in a light summer frock and admitted being “over the moon” at the prospect of motherhood.
The lingerie model and former TV presenter had announced she was pregnant after only four months of dating ex-Scottish rugby international Thom.
She admitted it wasn’t exactly planned, but added: “That is what happens when you’re in love – you surrender to whatever is to be. It wasn’t a plan but if it happened, it happened.”
In another interview she said: “This baby is not the result of me suddenly becoming broody because I have hit my 30s. It is simply that I have met someone that I am happy to share that responsibility with”. Kelly first revealed the news of her pregnancy on Twitter.
She tweeted: “Thom and I are happy to announce we are expecting a baby girl. We are delighted.”
