Word from Dannii Minogue’s camp suggests that the Australian didn’t receive the £750,000 pay-off to leave The X Factor as reported by some media.
Sources close to the former judge say there was no pay-out from ITV or Simon Cowell when she departed the series earlier this month.
A source told Heat magazine: “Her getting a pay-off is nonsense. She wasn’t even under contract – they’re not going to give her money for nothing.”
Minogue was forced to leave the series after clashes in dates for filming The X Factor and Australia’s Got Talent in Australia.
