Peter’s straight out of a celebrity-split after he and Elen Rivas decided to part ways after just a few months, but both have come out of it relatively unscathed.
“I made a promise to Elen in secret before we started dating…
“I said whatever happens to us, if it doesn’t work out we will revert to being friends. That was our agreement.
“When problems did start, it was because of our busy schedules and we suddenly stopped seeing each other.
“So before anyone could get hurt we made that decision to be friends. We honestly are.”
Pete is one of those lucky guys who seems to be getting hotter with age, and he’s refreshingly honest about how he’s done it.
“I have had Botox…I’ve had it three times – before I got married, just before I ended my marriage, and after my marriage.
“I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. I also had a nose job when I was 24.
“But I think it’s all good in moderation and it’s not something I’d want to do constantly.”
Since his recent breakup he’s realised he needs to be more of a guy for a while and first on the ‘Lad’ to-do list is a Hangover-inspired night out.
“I’m organising a night out with Joe Swash, Gino D’Acampo and Keith Lemon, who I’m really close to. We’re going to hit every night spot in London.”
But now he’s back on the market, he needs to be careful with the ladies.
“It’s a bit scary because a girl can come up to me and innocently ask for picture, then sell it to the papers and do a kiss-and-tell.
“Then I have to defend it and that’s a hassle. But when it’s genuine with the girls, I usually like to take the party back home. Without the cameras…”
