The Cube

Sunday, 22 May 2011, 7:00PM – 8:00PM

Phillip Schofield is back to host the third series of The Cube which tests contestants’ ability, nerve and determination to win. The question is, can anyone finally beat The Cube for a quarter of a million pounds?

The Cube will continue to challenge members of the public to attempt deceivingly simple tasks in a giant cube. Once inside, there is nowhere to hide, as their entire journey is captured from all angles by over 90 slow-motion and Gamefreeze(™) cameras.

With each task worth a large cash prize, the contestant will have to keep their nerve in this high pressure game of skill and strategy to move closer to the top prize of £250,000.

Each player starts with nine lives and has to complete seven tasks to win the jackpot but if they accept the challenge and lose all their lives during the game, they will leave with nothing.

In episode 8, Cornishman Jake gives The Cube a run for its money and young chef Raymond is the tallest person to ever take on The Cube – but will his height be a help or a hindrance?
