It’s all about revenge for Corrie’s Tina McIntyre and EastEnders’ Michael Moon!

Both Michelle Keegan and Steve John Shepherd – who play Tina McIntyre in Corrie and Michael Moon in EastEnders – have been telling Soaplife that their characters want revenge on their nearest and dearest!

First, for Tina, her upset at being betrayed by Graeme (Craig Gazey) begins when she finds out he’s having an affair with her best mate Xin (Elizabeth Tan).

It proves heartbreaking, and she wants to make Graeme pay.

Here’s what Michelle told Soaplife…

“Tina’s put her life on hold and lived a lie for her friend…

“She had no idea there was something going on with Graeme and Xin. She thought she had settled down with a lovely, trustworthy lad!”

So how does Tina feel when Graeme dumps her?

“Absolutely gutted. She feels like she’s lost everything.”

Who does she blame?

“She blames them both. She blames Xin for coming in and taking her life, for swanning in and getting carried away with their big game of pretend. But it’s Graeme that’s hurt her the most.

“She trusted him more than anyone. He was just Graeme, wore his heart on his sleeve, fell in love easily, but she would never have imagined he would cheat.”

Will Tina want revenge, or will she feel there’s no point?

“Revenge! It’s Tina after all! And in true Tina style she’s not just going to sit back. Tina’s far too feisty for that, and no matter how she feels on the inside she’s definitely not going to let it show.”

Tommy fancies Tina – could his luck be in now?

“Possibly! She definitely thinks he’s someone who could be a great mate. But I don’t know if he’s boyfriend material.”

Will what’s happened with Graeme make Tina more hard-hearted?

“I think it may make her paranoid of relationships. She’s had so much hurt in the past, and now the one person who she trusted more than anything, the last person she expected, has run off with her best mate.

“She’s crushed and she’s definitely not going to be able to trust anyone for a long time!”

Over now to EastEnder Steve John Shepherd who told Soaplife that Michael Moon’s going to try to run his dad out of Walford because of something that happened between them when Michael was a child.

Steve said, “Having his dad in Walford is dredging up terrible memories for Michael…

“Eddie walks into The Vic and, moments later, Michael enters, sees his dad and leaves.

“Michael’s distanced himself from the Moon family and things are acrimonious between him, his dad and his two brothers, Anthony and Tyler.”

Here’s the rest of the interview…

Eddie’s got a newspaper picture of Kat, Tommy and Alfie… Is that why he’s turned up?

“Michael doesn’t know that Eddie’s seen them in the papers. He’s certainly not ready to deal with the idea of a relationship between Eddie and Tommy.”

He can’t even deal with a relationship between himself and Tommy!

“Right now he thinks it’s better for everyone if he takes no responsibility for Tommy. But that could change at some point.”

So what’s the problem between Michael and Eddie?

“It’s something dark and it’s still very raw for Michael. It’s made him the person he is today. It’s why he is so damaged. And dangerous.”

So Eddie’s presence stirs up bad memories for Michael?

“Yes and I think that’s going to have a damaging effect on Michael’s relationships with the people around him.”

Does he tell Roxy the secret?

“Eventually, yes, and she shoulders some of the burden. But that won’t be enough for Michael. He’ll want to exact some sort of revenge on his dad. It will have ramifications for everybody involved.”

How are things going with Roxy?

“They’re going well at the moment, but I don’t know how long it will carry on like this. Michael has a dark side and some demons that need to be exorcised.”

What’s in store for Michael?

“There are some exciting things to come. Some darkness and also some light.”
