And her daughters are clearly equally as attracted to the bad lad types, because Lauren gives herself a glam and sexy makeover for Ryan’s benefit, and Abi agrees to sleep with Jay for the first time, but Lola gets in the way of that plot. Phew.
Elsewhere, Janine’s flashing the cash, and she turns up on the Square in a chauffeur driven Rolls Royce, much to Ricky’s annoyance since he’s struggling desperately to stay financially afloat.
But Pat’s not about to cow tow to Janine just because she’s now rich, and once again, Pat accuses Janine of bumping her gran off. However, unfazed Janine’s party is that night, and surprise surprise, the winner of the raffle – for a trip to Vegas – is… Janine!
However, while she’s busy gloating, she hears that her Uncle Norman is going to contest Lydia’s will, so will Janine lose everything?
Well, maybe not, because Pat, desperate for Janine to loan Ricky enough money to start up his own business, decides to talk Norman out of the court battle, and when the pair agree to go to dinner with Carol and Eddie, it looks like a spot of romance could be on the cards too!
And Ian thinks he’s got some romance on his hands when he misinterprets Denise’s offer to hold Bobby’s birthday party at her house, but when Ian moves in to kiss Denise, she’s horrified and rapidly sets him straight.
