Janet Devlin to perform despite grandfather's death

This weekend’s ‘love and heartbreak’ theme on The X Factor will have added meaning for Janet Devlin who has lost her grandfather this week.

The finalist’s grandfather passed away this week and Devlin says she will miss the funeral in order to perform on Saturday night’s live show.

She had been granted leave by the show to attend the funeral but has chosen to stay and perform for her grandfather.
