Current X Factor winner Matt Cardle has criticised Tulisa Contostavlos’s decision to cut 2 Shoes from the competition.
Cardle, who was victorious in last year’s season, belives the judge was wrong to eliminated the two-piece act on Sunday night.
When asked on The Xtra Factor if he thought they should have been eliminated, Cardle said: “I don’t think so no, I think they did a great performance last night.
“We’ve heard them in judges houses they’ve both got amazing voice so for that reason, no I don’t think they should have gone.”
Cardle was also asked who he felt should have gone in their place, he said: “I thought The Risk were amazing last night and Rhythmix, I thought Nu Vibe struggled slightly.”
