Plus, Kat Kelly talks Becky’s Christmas Day fire danger, and Michelle Keegan on “not sexy” towel scenes!

As fans of Corrie will know, evil rapist Frank Foster is to be murdered, and right at the top of the police’ list of suspects is spurned husband Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) and it seems several of the Street’s residents think he could be guilty too…
Including his ex-wife Sally Webster, who is of course played by Sally Dynevor.
And in coming weeks, we’re going to see Sally growing closer to Frank (Andrew Lancel) until the two become a couple, which of course isn’t going to impress Kevin one bit.
Speaking to All About Soap about Frank’s murder and her character’s relationship with Frank, Sally said, “Sally’s not really bothered about Kevin because of the way he’s treated her in the past.
“I don’t think he’d be happy if he found out about her and Frank, though.
“And if Frank hurt Sally in any way, I wouldn’t like to guess what Kevin would do to him.
“I think he might even be capable of murder.”
And when asked how Sally reacts when Frank tries to kiss her for the first time, she said, “She’s a bit shocked at first because she didn’t see it coming…
“But as soon as he pulls away and goes to leave, she feels she’s ruined the moment.

“She’s a bit taken aback and doesn’t know how to react.”
Do you reckon Kevin’s capable of murder? I can’t see it myself!
Over now to Kat Kelly, who’s been talking to Soaplife about the circumstances that lead up to her character Becky McDonald setting fire to her flat on Christmas Day.
And as fans of the show will know, Becky has herself a Boyfriend Bonfire after her ex, Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) brands her a murderer while falsely accusing her of causing Tracy Barlow’s (Kate Ford) miscarriage.
Of that betrayal, Kat said, “Steve’s the love of her life but he’s changed everything by not believing her.
“It’s absolutely rocked her world. It’s hit Becky like a ton of bricks and made her question everything.
“She’s not surprised by Tracy’s deviousness but she’s surprised Steve believes Tracy over her.”
Then, when asked how Becky feels when she learns that Steve has proposed to Tracy, Kat said, “She’s devastated. She tells Steve he can’t marry Tracy. She knows he doesn’t love Tracy.
“He’s admitted to her he doesn’t.
“She says it’s nothing to do with her, but he’s about to make the biggest mistake of his life, which proves to me that deep down she still loves him.”
And when asked if Becky’s suicidal after the harsh words from Steve, Kat said, “She’s not suicidal, just really drunk.
“But the fire’s raging and Becky’s passed out on the sofa so it doesn’t look good…”
But fear not, for Nick Tilsley will save Becky! Phew.
Finally, Michelle Keegan has said that she doesn’t consider the scenes in which her character, Tina McIntyre, walks around in just a towel, to be at all sexy.
I suspect the men of Britain would beg to disagree.

Speaking to New magazine, Michelle said of the towel scenes, “It’s fine, because underneath I’ve got a massive pair of granny knickers on and a bra, so I don’t feel self-conscious.”
And when asked if she’s “body confident”, she said, “I’m not body confident at all, I’m just very laid back.
“I’ve still got my insecurities, which I think every girl’s got.
“I’m not 100 per cent confident with my body and obviously there are things that I hate, like my ears, but I’m quite laid back about it.”
O bless her.
