Amanda Holden has given birth to a baby girl.
The ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ judge delivered the tot on Monday (23.01.12) after checking into a private clinic following early signs of labour.
However, the pregnancy had complications and the 40-year-old star was kept in intensive care for three days in a critical condition.
Amanda is now in a stable condition and she and her husband Chris Hughes have named their daughter Hollie Rose Hughes.
The couple’s spokeswoman Alison Griffin said: “Hollie Rose Hughes was born on 23 January 2012.
“She is healthy and weighed in at 6.1lb but Amanda has been in a critical condition for the past three days.
“She is now stable and we expect her to make a full recovery very soon. We thank you for respecting their privacy at this time.”
Although the baby’s due date was unknown it is believed Amanda was over eight months pregnant at the time of the birth.
Amanda – who pulled out ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ auditions when she started to show symptoms of labour – and Chris already have a five-year-old daughter, Lexi, together.
Last year, the TV star tragically lost her unborn son seven months into her pregnancy.
