Jones not returning to X Factor USA
Steve Jones has confirmed he will not be returning to The X Factor USA this year. Jones announced the news via Twitter, saying: “I wont be hosting next seasons X Factor which is a shame but I cant complain as I’ve had a great time. Good luck to everyone on the show (sic).”
MacLaine added to Downton cast
Downton Abbey has added actress Shirley MacLaine to the cast for its third season. The actress will play the American mother of one of the characters.
Assange to appear on The Simpsons
Wikileaks’ founder Julian Assange will make a guest appearance on The Simpsons. Assange will play himself on the 500th episode of the cartoon.
