New BGT panel have instant rapport as auditions kick off in Manchester

The new panel of judges on Britain’s Got Talent have an instant rapport as they kicked off the audition process in Manchester.

Amanda Holden was there to welcome back Simon Cowell and they were joined by ex-BBC Strictly Come Dancing judge Alesha Dixon and David Walliams.

Insiders said the panel had “brilliant banter” while they had “lots of laughing and joking between them both on and off screen, so things will only get better over the coming weeks as they gel even more.  Simon said he’s happy to be back – and it’s clear he is really enjoying himself.  He’s in fine form.  David is hilarious – he’s had the audiences in stitches and he’s been up on stage a few times already.”

The audience are said to have welcomed Alesha Dixon with open arms despite the controversy over her defecting from the BBC.
