ITV apologises for cutting of Adele
ITV has apologised for cutting Adele of during her acceptance speech at the Brit Awards. The network said: “We regret this happened and we send deepest apologies to Adele that her big moment was cut short tonight due to the live show over-running… We don’t want this to undermine her incredible achievement in winning her incredible award… it tops off what’s been an incredible year for her.”
Levine not interested in Cowell’s idea
The Voice’s Adam Levine has said that he is not at all interested in Simon Cowell’s “super-final” idea and that Cowell is obsessed with competing against other shows.
BBC defends funeral coverage
The BBC has defended its news channel’s coverage of Whitney Houston’s funeral after it received 118 complaints that it was too extensive. “This was the funeral of a recording artist who had a substantial impact on late 20th century music and whose death had come as a great shock to the wider music industry and to her millions of fans.”
Eternal Law axed by ITV
Eternal Law has been axed by ITV after just one season. “Alas there will be no more Eternal Law,” actor Samuel West confirmed. “Not enough people watched it. A thousand thanks to those of you who did, and said such kind things.”
