Rumour has it that Simon Cowell has offered Beyonce a whopping $100 million deal to sign on as a judge for the second and revamped season of The X Factor in the USA.
Cowell reportedly wants a big name to sit on the panel in a bid to boost the show’s ratings.
An insider said, “He wants a big name female star on the panel. Mariah (Carey) is good, but she’s not that hot today.”
They added that Cowell hopes to sign Beyonce for a 5 year deal worth $500 million. They said, “He wants Beyonce because that would immediately give him the bounce needed to beat American Idol.
Representative for Beyonce have yet to commet though a different insider claimed that she will make a “major career announcement” in the upcoming months.
The X Factor USA has undergone a major cull this week with host Steve Jones leaving and judges Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul also leaving.
