Joining Jools is Jack White, who returns to the show to perform tracks from his solo debut Blunderbuss. Jack has previously performed on Later as half of White Stripes and a quarter of Raconteurs.

Norah Jones will also be in the studio to play selections from her brand new Little Broken Hearts set.

From Athens GA come hotly tipped four-piece Alabama Shakes, with a firin’ blend of hard rock, blues and soul, who will be making their UK TV debut on this episode.

Celebrating 50 years as a legendary Irish folk force, The Chieftains will be performing tracks from their Voice Of Ages album, joined by Secret Sisters and also Carolina Chocolate Drops who will play one of their own tunes too.

Canadian artist and musician Grimes will also be making her UK TV debut with songs from her acclaimed Visions album.
