Plus Shirley Carter’s misery deepens in EastEnders
We’ll begin today’s round up of soap spoilers with Corrie, where Norris Cole is about to find himself all hot and bothered by the attentions of a lap dancer!
The storyline begins when bad lad Terry Duckworth comes back to the cobbles in tomorrow night’s episode, and reveals that he’s opening a lap dancing club right next door to Nick’s Bistro, which goes down like a pork chop in a synagogue with the locals…
But one dancer is keen to impress Terry – who’s naming the club 7th Heaven – so she performs an impromptu dance for Norris, which of course is going to drive potential love interest Mary nuts!
A Coronation Street insider told the Daily Star, “Terry needs hot young girls to dance in his club but had no intention of letting everyone know what he was up to so publicly.
“The girl is desperate to work in his club and thinks the best way to secure a job is to show him exactly what she can do.
“The entire pub is outraged when they realise what he’s up to and Tommy starts to wonder if he can really trust his dad.”
We’ll see Norris on the receiving end of a lap dance a week tomorrow.
Over to Emmerdale now, where the village is about to rocked to its core as Vicar Ashley Thomas is arrested on suspicion of assaulting his elderly dad, Sandy.
Ashley’s ill treatment of his dad comes to a head when his wife Laurel walks in on him as he’s just about to strike the poor old man.
A devastated Laurel tells Ashley that Sandy has every right to call the police, but Sandy refuses to say or do anything that will get Ashley into trouble.
However, someone does call the police, but we won’t know who for a while.
A show insider said, “There are no excuses for the abuse and torment Ashley has put his dad through.
“Ashley has been in a bad place ever since Laurel’s affair with Marlon Dingle.
“Sandy still loves Ashley and doesn’t want him punished, which makes it all the more distressing to watch.”
We’ll see Ashley’s arrest a week on Friday.

And finally, it’s over to EastEnders, where Shirley Carter is about to find herself homeless, thanks to nutcase Ben Mitchell.
The storyline begins when Ben tells Phil that he’s been sleep talking about killing Heather – which is a lie – and implores his dad to get Shirley out of the way in case she ever hears him.
So, when Phil finds Shirley going through the safe – she wants to offer a cash reward for information about Heather’s murder – he loses it with her, and it’s the perfect excuse to chuck her out of the house.
An insider said, “When Shirley believed Andrew was the killer it made things a lot easier for Phil.
“He knows if she ever found out the truth there’s no way she’d protect Ben or forgive him for covering up Hev’s murder.
“And Ben knows that while Shirley is with his dad he could turn from betraying her to betraying him so he fixes it to get her out of their life for good by making up the lie.
“Shirley has lost her best friend and now her family and home all because of Ben.
“When Derek finds her outside the Queen Vic he takes her home and gives her a bed for the night.
“He sees the perfect opportunity to wind up Phil and things are only going to get worse.”
Catch that drama a week tomorrow on BBC1.
