Homeland season two to air this autumn on Channel 4

Channel 4 has confirmed that it will air the second season of Homeland later this year.

The hit drama, which features Claire Danes and British actor Damian Lewis, will return o screens in the autumn.

While the first season aired in the UK four months after it did in the US, the second will screen much closer to the US.

The series will return to Showtime in the US on September 30.
