Last night’s BB highlights show was of course all about the nominations, and we have a list of who nominated who for you.
More on that in a moment, but first, the biggest character in last night’s Channel 5 highlights show was Arron, which frankly makes a nice change from it being all about Lydia!
However, when he first heard that he is to face eviction this week, he was oddly jubilant, telling Chris – who’s also up of course – “Yes! Y’know why? Because I think the public love you, and I could do with getting out of this place.
“Come and give me a hug, bro, we can do it!”
Personally, I think he was overjoyed because he thinks Chris will go and not him, however, he could well be counting his chickens there because as we saw later, his Mr Cool façade well and truly slipped…
Having made a point of saying he didn’t care who nominated him – Lydia, Chris, Deana, Adam, Lauren did by the way – he later had a drive-by dig at all the housemates saying loudly “You’d think people would just say ‘yeah I nominated you’ but no, not in this house. Backstabbers.”
He then continued on his way into the bathroom and Chris followed, admitting to Arron that he nominated him, and said “I know you would’ve nominated me,” before hurriedly moving the convo on.
But actually, Arron didn’t nominate Chris; he nominated Sara and Luke A.

So with 5 votes each, Arron and Chris face the public vote. Conor and Shievonne didn’t receive any nominations.
And apropos of how everyone dealt with the nominations, Caroline – who I’m still not sure if I like or find intensely 
annoying – hit upon one of my pet hates as she joked with Scott and Becky that she’d nominated them…
She sarcastically said, “I just want to be me, I’ll just be me…” and parodied the other clichés that dog the housemates every single year, adding, “It’s just so fake, I came here to be me, to be real…”
And while she was doing that, in the bedroom, Shievonne was telling Chris, “Just be yourself…”
So, as I mentioned, Caroline, Scott and Becky honed in on my pet peeve with BB, because every year, without fail, most of them repeat those sentences over and over and over again ad infinitum, and it’s friggin’ irritating!

But finally, just to return to Arron’s recent behaviour, what the hell was that going up the stairs crap about? Attention seeking? Because that’s the only reason I can imagine why he sat at the top of the stairs waiting for BB to tell him “three times” to pack it in!
Surely if you want air-time and want the cameras on you, you can think of something a tad more thrilling than lying down in front of a door? Not really a monumental stunt was it?
His pricking around with the lights in the bedroom was just irritating too. Obviously BB weren’t going to let him win that one, and I suspect that when BB told the housemates the bedroom was out of bounds, it was to send someone in to take the light switch out.
But, yet again my dilemma in terms of voting to save is whether to save Arron only because he creates drama? He’s annoying, he’s so far up himself he probably has to use his toothbrush rectally, and he thinks he’s god’s gift to women, but… he does create drama, and that’s what BB needs to keep it watchable.
Ooo dilemma! Who are you going to vote to save?
