Update CONOR HAS WON THE CONFUSING CUISINE MINI-TASK!
At around 5pm Conor learned that he’d won a very special prize having been deemed winner of today’s gruesome food task…
And he really did deserve to win as you can see in this clip.
However, his prize has the housemates furious – he’s won sole charge of next week’s shopping! Oo, there are some unhappy bunnies about that! More news soon…
3pm: Today is Day 20 in the Big Brother house, and the morning got off to a fairly unpleasant start when BB played in an ear splitting alarm to wake the housemates at 10am.
And given that many of them have pounding headaches from the sheer quantity of booze they drank at Ashleigh’s birthday party, the noise was not a welcome one.
However, things seemed on the up when they discovered that BB had brought all the chairs back, but equally, when some of the housemates surveyed the devastation from the party, they did a 180 and went right back to bed!
But Luke A and Lydia got stuck into the cleaning, albeit grudgingly, as did Luke S, and it only took them about three hours to sort it all out! Here’s a clip of their early morning activities.
However, later on, Lydia, Lauren and Deana found time to apply some make-up, do their hair and generally chill out a tad, but Deana then dropped a bombshell, revealing that she wants to leave…
But she told Lydia and Lauren that she doesn’t want to walk, so she suggested that the ideal thing would be if everyone nominated her, giving her a reasonable chance of leaving the house next Friday…
But of course, talking about nominations is now forbidden, so we eagerly await news of what Deana’s punishment will be! For now, here’s a clip of that rule break.
This afternoon though has brought the housemates one of their most gut churning tasks yet in the form of the Confusing Cuisine task…
In a nutshell, everyone except Caroline – who apparently doesn’t feel well – has to choose a dish that BB’s set out on the table. Available items include biscuits, cakes, a pig’s head, scotch eggs, and assorted other items.
However, what the housemates didn’t know until they tried their dish is that the food which looks enjoyable, such as cakes, are in fact make of a variety of gross ingredients that are guaranteed to make them gag.
Conversely, the icky looking items, such as the pig’s head or the dog biscuits, are actually made of sponge cakes and other sweet or savoury treats.
By 4pm, Ashleigh had selected the dog biscuits, Luke S the pig’s head, Arron the scotch egg, which it turned out was stuffed with anchovies. O hurl.
We will of course let you know how they all got on in tomorrow morning’s round up of today’s activities.
Have a fun rest of Sunday!
