Outnumbered returning for fifth season and xmas special

Popular BBC sitcom Outnumbered has been given a fifth season by the broadcaster as well as a Christmas special this year.

Filming on the next run of episodes will begin in 2013 with the 40-minute festive special screening later this year.

All five family members – Pete (Hugh Dennis), Sue (Claire Skinner), Jake (Tyger Drew-Honey), Ben (Daniel Roche) and Karen (Ramona Marquez) – will return.
