Plus Val smashes into Eric Pollard with a moped in Emmerdale!
We’ll start today’s soapy news and spoilers with EastEnders, where, despite the fact that the financial shiz has very much hit the expelair, Alfie Moon promises his wife Kat that everything’s going to work out just fine…
And that is indeed a big promise to make given they are currently potless thanks to Jean Slater, who of course handed over not only all her own money to shady Michael Moon, but all Alfie’s too!
However, as we reported recently, Michael will finally confess all on the day of his wedding.
Nonetheless, the Moons are still facing possible bankruptcy.
An EastEnders insider told the Daily Star, “Kat knows they’re in deep trouble and is worried sick about what they’re going to do to get themselves out of it.
“Alfie can sweet-talk anyone and does his best to reassure her they’ll come through it. But even he’s not so sure…
“What Michael did was despicable, especially given that Alfie is family.
“Michael is also the biological father of their boy Tommy and that makes it even worse.
“He’s never done anything for his son and his actions have jeopardised his future.
“It really is going to take some doing for them to get out of this one.”

Over to Corrie now, where there’s a new couple alert in the form of Leanne Barlow and Nick Tilsley!
However, given they were once married, and have been lovers since, I guess they aren’t a new couple entirely.
But they reignite their passion again when Eva, who is Leanne’s half-sister, and Nick’s former girlfriend, asks Leanne to try to sound Nick out about the chance of them – Eva and Nick – getting back together…
And as that chat ends with Nick and Leanne snogging, I’m going to guess that answer to that is a no.
A Corrie insider said, “This love square has been going on for so long it was only a matter of time before Leanne fell into Nick’s arms.
“She ended their steamy affair to marry Peter because he was the man she wanted to spend the rest of her life with.
“So when he ran off and set up home with love rival Carla Connor it wasn’t going to be long before Nick started to make his moves.
“His relationship with Eva is over and he wants to get back with half-sister Leanne. It’s going to be a steamy summer.”

Finally today, it’s over to Emmerdale, where Val Pollard is about to risk her estranged husband Eric’s life when she hits him with a moped!
The drama begins when Val buys the moped as a gift to Amy for her birthday. And as the villagers gather to see the bike, Val revels in showing off the generous present.
However, when Val revs the bike too hard, it shoots off right into Eric! Luckily, his injuries don’t seem to be too serious, but of course, Amy’s very unimpressed.
An insider said, “Val begs Eric for forgiveness but Brenda is furious.
“She tells Val it’s all her fault and she should feel guilty for pulling such a stunt.
“Viewers will find the whole thing hilarious – Val on her moped is not to be missed.”
