In the episode of Corrie that airs a week on Wednesday, Eileen Grimshaw is going to find herself spang in the center of a war between former BFFS, Steve McDonald and Lloyd Mullaney after Lloyd opens up a rival cab firm.

As fans of the show will know, Eileen is now working for Steve on the set at Street Cars, but when Lloyd sets up his firm, he’s going to try to head hunt Eileen and have her work for him.

So, both Steve and Lloyd will attempt to sway Eileen by offering her more and more money to work for them, but who will she choose?

A Corrie insider told the Daily Star, “Lloyd was heartbroken when he left [Weatherfield] and didn’t want anything keeping him in Weatherfield so he sold off all his assets.

“Steve is over the moon to see his old mate back in town but the smile is soon wiped off his face when he realises he is going to be the competition…

“Lloyd sees Eileen as a key figure in his new business venture and makes her one hell of an offer to defect.

“Eileen has always been loyal to Steve but money talks.

“Everyone will have to wait to see who wins the battle for Eileen but it’s the first of many for these two as they launch an all-out cab war.”

As mentioned, we’ll see that drama a week on Wednesday.

Over to Emmerdale now where Debbie Dingle is about to end up in hospital when the rowing and animosity between her dad Cain and her boyfriend Cameron takes a nasty turn…

As fans will of course know, Debbie is pregnant with Andy Sugden’s baby; a child that was conceived in order to donate bone marrow to their ill daughter Sarah.

So of course, the welfare of mum and baby is of paramount importance, but things come to a terrible head when Debbie’s caught in the crossfire between Cain and Cameron over Cain’s suspicion that Cameron is playing away.

And of course, Cain’s quite right about Cameron – he IS having an affair, but he doesn’t know it’s with his sister Chas. And what nobody other than Chas and Cameron know is that they’re planning on leaving the village to start a new life together…

But after the emergency with Debbie, both Chas and Cameron realize they can’t leave now for fear of what it would do to the pregnant mum.

We’ll see that drama a week on Thursday.

Finally, it’s over to EastEnders, where it’s been confirmed by the show’s bosses that Kat Moon is set to have yet another affair. Poor Alfie!

However, the identity of her lover is being kept a closely guarded secret, but it will be one of five suspects; Ray Dixon, Michael Moon and Branning brothers Max, Derek and Jack are all the frame.

An insider said of the plotline, “You’d think the way Kat got rid of her love rival Roxy Mitchell that she’d stay loyal to Alfie but she doesn’t.

“Alfie is the one she wants but she’s not getting the right attention from him so decides to look elsewhere.

“She flirts with a number of blokes to get them to join the football team, which leads her to get closer to one of them.

“Viewers are going to be shocked when they discover who her secret man is.

“She also has to keep it from Alfie – she’ll go to extraordinary lengths to keep her affair secret and even gets a second mobile phone so she can speak to her fella.

“Alfie has forgiven her before but an affair is very different from a drunken one-night stand.

“Of all the suspects Jack and Ray are the most likely but in Albert Square anything can happen.”

We’ll see the affair start a week on Wednesday.
