It has been claimed that The Voice UK ran over budget this season by £650,000.
£22m was allocated to the flashy new series by the BBC, which included a massive and expensive set as well as four high-tech swivel chairs.
It has been reported that the BBC is refusing to pay for the excess, with production company Wall To Wall covering the extra cost instead.
