Andrew Lloyd Webber’s new Superstar series has got off to a slow start on Saturday and Sunday nights.
The ITV1 reality series, which is looking for the next actor to play the role of Jesus in an arena production of Jesus Christ Superstar, averaged just 3.1m for its Sunday night episode.
The figure is down on the 3.3m who tuned in on Saturday night and well down on the 5 million or so who have watched previous Andrew Lloyd Webber talent series.
