Third finalist departs Superstar

Tim Prottey-Jones has become the third finalist to vacate the stage on ITV1’s Superstar.

The 32-year-old has continued the trend of surviving the bottom two one night before being eliminated the next.

Prottey-Jones was joined in the bottom two after the public vote by David Hunter, who Andrew Lloyd Webber said would “feel more secure” with him in the role.

He believed Prottey-Jones “might find it difficult” to perform in the spotlight of an arena.
