Today is Day 68 in the BB house, and of course, it’s the last ever Saturday that the housemates will spend in the house…
And this morning, all five remaining HMs were in congratulatory mood, telling each other that they’ve done so well to get this far.
They were all still excited about last night’s BOTS being aired live from the garden, with Sara going through her memories of last night, and getting excited about hearing her pal Kirsty on the phone.
Deana also had a few things to say about some of the footage they were shown, and asked lots of questions as she tried to piece together the event of the past few weeks.
Luke S was slightly less ebullient, but was still smiling, despite copping stick last night for that ‘agent’ talk he had weeks ago.
Luke A was grinning and Adam declared himself “buzzing.”
However, there wasn’t much time to dwell on last night’s events as BB announced the HMs were to take part in a Train for Fame task…
Here’s what the task entailed…
It’s going to involve a little media training for our remaining housemates as they get ready for leaving the cosy environs of the House.
Adam, Deana, Luke A, Luke S and Deana will all be trained in how to deal with their newfound fame by media guru and Bit On The Side regular, Nina Myskow.
Nina will be giving our finalists a one-on-one session this morning, speaking to them about their strengths and weaknesses, showing them clips to demonstrate examples. Prepare for a wealth of cringe-faces as they watch their own performances back with the benefit of hindsight – and remember Nina’s got a rep for refusing to take prisoners!
Later on, Nina will give all housemates a group session in general media training. She’ll take them through a series of exercises and role-plays demonstrating how the housemates should deal with a variety of situations. She’ll show the gang how to perfect their wave when they leave the Big Brother House and help them work on their gracious ‘winner’ or ‘loser’ face.
At the end of the session, if Nina judges that all Housemates have successfully Trained For Fame, they’ll pass their task and be treated to a cocktail and canapés party. What better way to celebrate their status as our final five?
During the course of the afternoon, Nina showed the HMs some clips of highlights and lowlights from the show, offering up some thoughts on what the five finalists might want to give some thought to as they move on after their BB experience.
It seems to have given the housemates lots to think about, and each came away from their tête-à-tête with Nina – having watched a clip of their previous behaviour – deep in thought about how they might be being perceived by the public.
Nina showed Luke A the clip of him commenting about Becky’s BMI, and Nina assured him that it was witty, if a little cruel.
Luke S was reminded by Nina that he’d said “men want to be me, women want to be with me,” but she praised the fact that he’s in touch with his “sensitive side” and she told him that the Lushleigh romance had “warmed a lot of hearts.”
Sara was next and Nina wasted no time in praising her for being “true to herself” and she told Sara that she has a lot of fans.
Deana was shown the clip of when she mocked Luke S about his slow button pushing, but Nina told her she had nothing to worry about, and that she’d shown a huge amount of strength in the house.
Finally, Adam was shown the clip of his milky anchovy tipping over Arron, about which he’s unrepentant, and Nina said he didn’t need to apologise as far as she could see.
Here’s a clip of the moment Nina went into the house…
I’ll be back with a full round up of the rest of today’s house action in the morning. Happy Saturday!
