There’s not long to wait now until the second season of Ryan Murphy’s awesome drama American Horror Story is back for its second outing on FX – an actual air date hasn’t been confirmed yet, but it’s very much expected to be late October – and as we’ll see, it’s all change!
We have absolutely loads of clips for you, as well as some spoilers, so if you don’t want to know, don’t go any further!
But if you do – and some of the clips are epic – then let’s go!
Season two is subtitled Asylum, and will see the action taking place in the sixties with Jessica Lange’s character playing Sister Jude, who, though she seems a tad nicer than Constance, she’ll also be a character with her own demons.
This season also has a very impressive guest cast list which includes Joseph Fiennes, James Cromwell, Zachary Quinto, Lily Rabe, Sarah Paulson, Chloe Sevigny, Mark Consuelos, Adam Levine and Clea Duvall to name a few.
We know too that the aforementioned Adam Levine and co-star Jenna Dewan will be playing “a modern couple called The Lovers” and Evan Peters’ character Tate will be “more heroic” during the new series.
Of the news series, Ryan Murphy recently told TV Line, “People who were enemies last year are allies this year.”
Also on the cast list for season two is Secret Circle and The Amazing Spiderman actor, Chris Zylka, who’s set to play Daniel, who is apparently “The Most Beautiful Boy in the World.”
Entertainment Weekly says that Daniel is deaf and also mute.
James Cromwell plays the creepy Dr. Arden, who’s in charge of the asylum, and of him, and what happens in the spooky facility, Murphy said, “It’s horrifying. It’s a period piece in a mental institution based largely on truth and truth is always scarier than fiction.”
The first episode is entitled Welcome to Briarcliff and the second is Tricks and Treats.
So, without further ado, here are the awesome clips, beginning with “The clues” which are…
1/ Special Deliver
2/ Blue Coat
4/ White Rose
6/ Glass Prison
7/ Red Rave
8/ White Rave
Oh my god I’m excited for the new series! Are you?
